also, the flu disables and kills people in normal times too, and when most people’s immune systems have been damaged by covid, that means more complications.

Many people say "well if you're sick you should do these things anyways" and I don't disagree. But covid isn't like a cold or a flu. It's more contagious, it's killing and disabling a much larger number of people and precautions MUST be taken /8
