I hadn't remembered the arbovirus link in Blade II when I first saw it 100 years ago. And there's mutation. And the retrovirus cure. It's a virology documentary series with swords and extra Foley! (what a cast btw).

The director's commentary is pure perfection. But I guess that's lost to history.
