And like, the smaller version was always kind of "the female variant" - for me the 42mm will probably be acceptable in the end, but women will have less choice now if 42 is the *small* one (used to be that there was 38 and 42) - if you were happy with 38mm, you're kinda screwed now

the new 42s are almost the same dimensions as the old 38s with the bezel and curves now rounded down - I do think they do a disservice with the elastomer bands tho, they don’t bend well so end up making the whole thing way larger than it has to be
