I just had a (expensive) drug I've been taking for THREE YEARS sent back for prior authorization. Yes, I still have the same chronic condition my doctor has submitted previous prior-approvals for, it hasn't miraculously vanished.
That reminds me, aren't there horror stories about people having to reapply for disability coverage for things like missing limbs? "Dear [Bureaucracy]: I am not a starfish...]"
