Ah, I see. This is starting to make more sense. Thanks for the heads up, Georg!

Ah, thanks! How do the starter packs work? Are they simply a shortcut for newcomers to find people to follow? So if they follow someone in my field, they might use their starter packs and end up following me too?

Anyone else experiencing a rapid increase in incoming followers these days? What is going on exactly? And should I be feeling performance anxiety at this point? #AcademicSky#NewSky

There seems to be quite an influx of new users in here these days. Is the formerly-known-as-bird-place finally crumbling?

I have wanted to write something like this since I first read Andreas Malm's 'The Progress of this Storm' in 2017 and felt that it set up poor conditions for a constructive dialogue between new materialism and marxist thinking. Let me know what you think!

Fiiiinally received the first review on my book manuscript. A good one too. I chuckled a little at this line: "It is well written, clear and lucid and absolutely readable – not always the norm in the field of contemporary political theory." Now I'll have to wait for the infamous reviewer 2...

Oh, I should have been clearer. I am currently waiting for the full manuscript reviews. :-)

Thanks, Finn Arne. I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I definitely recognize people around me being overstretched to the point of burnout. It’s sad we’ve gotten to this point, really. I’ll try to find some peace in the slowness of this process, and hope that it progresses soon. 😊
