You should not be searching possessions without gloves on anyway, so open cuts shouldn't be a problem. I would be shocked if police aren't trained to use gloves when searching through possessions.
Looove this. What a beautiful color scheme.
Beautiful lofted terrace overlooking the sea. Somewhat overgrown, could this be it hasn’t been cared for lately? l8r.it/Wesb#dnd#battlemap#dungeonsanddragons#rpg#ttrpg#dungeonmaster#fantasymap#tabletoprpg#dndmaps#roll20#worldbuilding#angelamaps
If you ever notice the blocking behaviour, use negative reinforcement to discourage it (even before the fight happens). If you see either of the cats in the corridor, you should try to direct them into a larger room. Basically just "training" them to only use the corridor as point A to point B.
As I said, I think you should try to encourage them to use other spaces in the home. Do not keep anything cat related in the corridor. If a stray toy ends up there, remove it when you see it. Use positive reinforcement in the other rooms to encourage them to spend more time in open rooms, etc etc.
Also, I'm guessing the location isn't JUST the narrow corridor, so you could maybe encourage the cats out of the corridor. It doesn't always work, but if you put toys, treats (especially treats), etc. into a different area, the cats will tend to naturally gravitate towards there.
