Counterpoint: a Republican hoping people have forgotten about what followed LBJ's step down and is hoping that this opinion piece written as if it's from a Dem perspective will cause Biden to step down late in the election cycle.

I regularly spoke to people under the age of 30 who had no clue how to do things on PCs that I considered to be basic information. Tons of people who also don't carry out Windows or driver updates (I'd say about 60-70% of our repairs were just updates).

As someone who worked in a computer parts & repairs store, I 100% agree with this. Young people are just as clueless, especially if you get even a little bit more specific (ask the average person 25 or under to point to the RAM in a PC or ask what the BIOS is and they will be unable to).

It's not about someone scrolling Twitter and suddenly hire you. It's about when you apply through traditional means, you put your social media on the application as a portfolio. Employers will always feel better if they can see what they're paying for (your talent) before signing a contract.

"Do people still want to clean up horse 💩 for a living?" Ummm, maybe you should talk to the thousands of people who owns stables in the modern day. Horses didn't go extinct with the invention of cars.

It's like one of the protag's companions in the first game became the main villain in the sequel.

Love seeing super shiny and sleek black cats. It's clear you took great care of her.

For reference, Widget did not look like the UPS mascot in the slightest.

A tuxedo black and white cat. Its most notable feature is a white spot under its nose

Our first cat, I named "Prowley" because I had just learnt the word "prowl". Our second cat, I named Widget after a UPS ad mascot (pic). The names aren't outrageous, but people have always found the origins of the names to be odd.

The UPS mascot named "Widget". It is mustard coloured. Its head is large and has a large amount of space between its big eyes and a wide smile, giving it a blank stare. Its arms are extended on either side and it is wearing a UPS cap with small nub-ears poking out.

looks like somebody finally got their ducks in a row

A mallard duck in the foreground with a group of ducks in a rough line behind them.
