Evonne's non-human companion is Keidra, a dragon familiar that was granted to her when she took a part of Nurvureem's essence to become a drakewarden. He's grown from a medium drake to a large dragon and is Evonne's closest companion. They are one and the same.

Keidra is technically not real and is instead a manifestation of Nurvureem's shadow fell magic but the details confuse Evonne. He cannot die by normal means, as every time he falls in battle, Evonne can re-summon him, however she still feels great sorrow when he does fall.
