Gundamsky, What/when was your entry point for #Gundam#anime#videogames#Gunpla@cguanche.bsky.social#MobileSuitGundam movie trilogy in 1999.
I'd been tangentially aware of Gundam through seeing model kits at my local hobby store and adverts in the back pages of modelling magazines during the mid-90s. Played Gundam Wing: Endless Duel on ZSNES, then I was loaned a CCA fansub tape, then finally Gundam Wing hit Cartoon Network in the UK.
Started building model kits to pass the time, because i didn't have a lot going on and was at a rough point in my life. now it's almost 2 years later and this series has become a big part of my life.
G was the start, seed and destiny was what finished the job
My middle school somehow had almost the entire G Gundam manga that I read front to back. But I never really got into it fully until 2017, when a friend sold me a HG FA Thunderbolt he wasn't planning on building.
08th MS Team on Toonami. Will always hold a special place for me despite the haters.
Watching Gundam Wing on Toonami, then finding out about Universal Century by playing a Super Robot Wars game on an SNES emulator!
First was Gundam Wing in the early 2000s (watched it all on VHS, haha). Finally got into MSG 0079 around March-April of this year and have watched it, Zeta, half of ZZ and a few eps of Turn A, IBO, Gundam X and G-Gundam.
Seed. Followed by Wing and X.
My friend introduce me to Iron-Blooded Orphans, immediately got hook to the franchise.
