Remember in 2016 when a bunch of brave leftists didn’t vote/voted 3rd party to protest against the democrats and how it single handedly fixed every problem ever and made the democrats finally listen to progressives? Because I certainly fucking don’t. Don’t waste your vote.

The best chance to push democrats left is during the primaries where we can nominate, campaign for, and vote for progressive candidates. We have to be pragmatic during the general though, too much is at risk.

Yes, I made the mistake of voting green really thinking we had a chance of progressing left, mostly because no one thought Trump was going to win. I learned my lesson.

At least in my part of the country, leftists protest voting wasn't the problem; the absurd lack of Democrat ground game was (they didn't even campaign in PA, though I did canvas for them). And they still got the popular vote in that election
