"Don't lie!" Izuku rests one knee on the bed, getting closer to Kacchan, who's curled up against the headboard of the bed with his knees close to his chest. Izuku leans over him, gripping the top of the headboard with both hands, caging Kacchan in with his muscular arms. "Did you really mean it?"

The excuses, the denial, all semblance of logic and reason—they dry up in Kacchan's throat as his eyes flicker between Izuku's face and the rest of his body. "The—You forgot the pillow—" Izuku doesn't have enough rationale left to care about that.
