I've been trying to make this case for years. I was in major crisis-mode for a while, after I started my business, because the ACA hadn't launched yet, at the time, and I couldn't even BUY insurance.

I literally wrote my congressman about it when the big debates were going on, asking why they weren’t talking about it this way. I didn’t necessarily hope my email alone would make a difference, but it sure would have been nice if it had. (And he was a good guy, so I hoped, maybe…but no.)
