So everyone seems to be complaining that The Office (Australian version) "looks cringe" and... is that not the point? Isn't Ricky Gervais' entire television career based on cringe "comedy"?

Is not the entire point of the US show that they're all kinda inept and awkward due to the facade of the office environment and then Steve Carrell smashes in like "I'M SUPERBOSS" and makes everything worse?
