On the other hand, it is reasonable to ask what kind of predictions IIT has generated since it is portrayed as a theory of consciousness (not "just" maths).
In all fairness, in the meantime it got promoted to a theory of everything arxiv.org/abs/1906.10184, or maybe they changed its status again, not sure
