Listening to the livestream of the #Commission2024 press conference, it's a bit annoying that almost all the journalists are asking questions about the commissioner from their own country only.

It seems that #vonderLeyen has to comment on 27 national debates ("would you have given our country a different portfolio if the government had proposed a different candidate?"). But when it comes to the functioning of the COM as a whole, she gets away with "we will all work very well together".

But it's hardly surprising, unfortunately...
