Great article! It reminded me of Q-Tip's industry rule 4080 & the Prince "Symbol" story. The latter of which was revisited during the fight for Taylor Swift's masters. Or the industry going after Napster & other P2P apps. "For the artists." Private equity seems to cannibalize every industry it can
Thanks for this note. As @brewster.kahle.org has noted, so many industries have become winner-takes-all. All: 100% to the strongest player, the one with the deepest pockets.
