The danger of reading is that Maddie's learned what release dates are, but usually we can say "maybe birthday/Christmas." Zelda is Zelda, though
To be clear normally I'd have grabbed it day one, but I'm not cleared to drive yet, and Kate has enough on her plate without me asking her to go buy a game for me. So the kids came through, with Maddie going, "The Switch says it's 'available now,' so we can get it now!"
I was playing an unofficial translation of a sprite-based murder-mystery adventure game from 1995, so this will be a slight change
The kids begged Kate to get the new Zelda today, so now that they're in bed it means I get to play new Zelda
It's excellent, and also means our shared stuff would all be Capcom
Sorry, complete and localized port, I meant.
Those arrangements rip, they really took advantage of the format
Yes and no. The Master System got Ys I and only Ys I, and it made some weird choices with the localization. Then there's DOS and Apple II, which also didn't get Ys II. The first complete port of the package was the TG-CD one above, which is faithful gameplay-wise but did arrange the music.
I love the Chronicles remake, but there's something about the way this one looks and sounds that resonates with me, too
You know it's been a good year because I've got my own satisfying list so far, and we share exactly one game on it.
