I am planning to attend @seattleworldcon.bsky.social in person and will be masking. I really hope the con makes a good decision here. We've all seen enough covid mass-spreading after cons in recent years, and I want this con to be as inclusive as possible which means masking.

so as it stands...I don't know what the masking policy will be at @seattleworldcon.bsky.social and currently neither do they. I urge SEattle Worldcon to take lessons from the Glasgow Worldcon, and the looming problem of World Fantasy, and adopt a mandatory mask policy.

Seattle Worldcon 2025 will comply with all local, state, and federal guidance regarding public health safety that is in force at the time of our convention. If we decide to have policies that exceed governmental guidance, we anticipate articulating a complete health policy no later than February 2025.
