also anything by Malidoma Patrice Somé (Dagara) ... I've just read "Of Water & Spirit" by him (autobiographical, was incredible.) African Cosmology of the Bântu-Kôngo by Kimbwandènde Kia Bunseki Fu-Kiau has also been excellent so far
iono about the cambridge one but African Religions & Philosophy by John Mbiti looks really good from the excerpts I've read (he's Kenyan but apparently looks at the whole continent!)
