Llangeinor mountain is littered with legend, folklore and archaeology. Final resting place of St Cein, daughter of Brychan Brycheiniog, aunt of St Catwg & great aunt of St David. The mountain was looking particularly lovely on yesterday's walk through ice mist.
Cake auditions for the Logburner Experience Afternoon to raise money for Crisis@Christmas are continuing. This is Sticky Gingerbread - definitely one for the grown ups. It might get served with a piece of flavoursome cheese, possibly Wensleydale, possibly a good strong Cheddar.

Currently writing an essay on practical challenges faced by lone itinerant women walking across early medieval Wales & have come to the bit on river crossing. So I went to view the ford on the River Ogmore at Newmill - it's looking beautiful but distinctly unford-able today.
