Drunk in the passenger seat, keys in glove box. You approve of George moving Alice from the passenger seat to the drivers seat to save his own miserable ass from the consequences of his actions?

He did a really bad thing, and needs to realise that of all the bad things he has done this is by far the most despicable.

I agree, George is not clever enough to behave in the same way as Rob did. And he does not have the same charisma either.

I think Robā€™s father was a bully, and used coercive behaviour over both boys, and his wife early in the marriage. Robā€™s mother was scared, but fell in with his behaviour, because it was focused on the boys and not her. I think this behaviour is learned, genetic is a bit of a stretch to me.

Rob had terrible parents, this was clearly seen at the trial eg the way his father spoke to his mother. His father was disappointed that Rob was not like him in his treatment of Helen, and son. Rob wanted to please his father so much.
