As a Wellington renter (Lambton), ratepayer and reluctant landlord, I am happy with a 15+% rate rise to start addressing the decades-long fallout of the cowardly, comfortable property-owning class keeping rates down, living off capital gains, being fucking NIMBYs & generally being shit.
