We need a better class of Robber Barons...

Robber barons were evil as heck, but the Carnegie libraries alone brought literacy to thousands, especially in poor and minority communities. A *lot* of Black success stories in America include childhood access to a Carnegie library. There's a legacy any modern techbro could easily recreate.
