Refreshingly honest speech from Chris Stark today on govt’s plan for clean energy mission: 1. ESO to report in autumn on practical steps needed to meet 2030 2. Will show it’s not possible under current system. Govt will quickly set out needed changes: Planning Bill key & will be introduced 2025

7. It will be interesting to see how the OBR revise their forecast to account for historic changes to investment, including cuts during austerity under the previous govt.
