The NVIDIA Jetson can do 6 *trillion* of those functions in a single second, requiring less energy than a lightbulb. That is absolutely terrifying. If a person could do one per second, it would take them 190,000 yrs to do what the Jetson does in 1 second.
How powerful are today's computers to run AI? Just 1 example, the NVIDIA Jetson. So a floating point, that's a number with one number for the base and another number designating where the decimal point goes. A floating point operation is when you add, multiple, etc two of those.
