What you think will happen: "Haha, a random BSky cynic has been chosen how droll." What will actually happen: "Justice Cletus, swayed by a half-empty Coors by Kavanaugh, sided with the majority to allow Chevron to use gays & minorities as human filters for frack flowback solution.."

There should be a wildcard Supreme Court seat chosen at random every term from a pool of eligible non-lawyer citizens. Then the justices would have to convince one normal person of their B.S. The wildcard writes little essays about what they learn. Is this a good idea? No. But maybe it would be fun
