Making a European exception today: I’m flying instead of taking the train — cause no feasible connection between Berlin and Helsinki exists. The Baltic route is still not built. The ferry takes days and is very costly. So, after today, I must update my CO₂ footprint statement in my profile. 😔

The @zugpost.org folks would probably know better. Maybe with more time, I’d dare to go with trains and busses via Warsaw and Tallinn. On the way back, I’ll take the ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm, though and then spend a week going slowly via Malmö, Copenhagen and Hamburg on various trains.
