I noticed strange square clouds on Google earth, will someone wiser than I please explain it? I tried to google out nothing came up. I was looking at Antarctica because of this crazy (cryptid? Alien? Living volleyball with fins?)

It’s because those images are mosaicked together from multiple passes of satellites. Sometimes the passes with usable imagery (e.g., low cloud cover/haze allowing a clear picture of the ground) are months or entire seasons apart. You’re seeing the artifacts from that process.
