In a similar vein, see Ira Levin's THE STEPFORD WIVES. It's obviously not nearly as far ahead of its time as FRANKENSTEIN, but it does nail how techbros and their cultish hangers-on make terrible husbands.
My dad loved to talk about that book and movie. He found them disturbing. He did show me the movie.
