I have had a rare 3 day weekend and used it to catch up on adulting. And yet the to do list doesn't look any smaller 🤦 And whilst I know the apartment is very very close to looking wonderful, it's still at that stage where there's stuff everywhere from me unpacking and cleaning everything.

Did a very *adult* thing today. Presented my first deck as a freelance consultant in my area of expertise. For more money than I've ever earned in a day before. And it went well??

Birmingham certainly has its moments of feeling unsafe and grimy, but look a little deeper and it's an amazing city. The main square has become an impromptu skating rink the last few weeks and it's been amazing to see it grow in popularity and a (free!) place for people to come together.
Hundreds of Beavers is a perfect movie. Watching it for the second time a little drunk and surrounded by some of my absolute best friends makes for a perfect evening. Nothing beats being a cartoon animal and hanging out with other cartoon animals, dude. This is the life.
