One thing I’ve noticed is that nobody is willing to even consider the obvious reason why people are withholding a vote from Harris (genocide is bad). Like, it’s fine to disagree with their own personal calculation here but they aren’t abstaining out of venality or pettiness! You can still disagree!

everyone is entitled to cut off their own nose out of spite, for sure. if the goal is to end the genocide, the other candidate winning will not help that whatsoever. quite the opposite. but it’s true, it’s a free country (for now).
