2. Live coding I code live in lecture to show students the process of coding. I have students follow along on their laptops have TAs monitoring a slack channel for questions. Students love it.

Live coding vastly improves over showing code on slides. It slows down the pace of the course so that students can absorb what's going on and gives them the extra few seconds they may need to formulate a question. Plus, if Blackwell messes up, it's extremely fun for them.
