Maybe my favorite French free jazz LP. Can hang with some of the better ESP blares. Get one while this repressing is still out there.
Why has this never been officially released? There are good tapes, and it is utterly unique.

This is a fantastic album. Eddie Gomez gets a lot of room to roam. Goodrick jumps from comping to soloing really well. I wish he recorded more.
My resume has some holes in it, but when employers learn that I own History: America's Greatest Hits both on vinyl and CD, I always bag the interview.
I never see this record written up as a lost classic, but it should be. It looks like it might be a Ginger Baker-style afro beat workout, and it sometimes is. But there is some free playing here that goes way beyond expectations.
