This is the third or fourth time they've done this in two years too. There's definitely some tax fuckery going on that needs to be investigated.
My feeling is that they are publicly announcing their intention to commit tax fraud and should be held legally accountable for that.

It feels like there is a theft or fraud to take this from the public. Shouldn’t it now belong to the tax department if they are not paying the tax.
I have long had this idea that major intellectual property should be treated like real property (real estate) and be subject to property taxes as long as the copyright is to be enforced. When the corporation is tired of the tax they can put the IP on the public domain.

How many artists, actors and others who appear in credits will want to work for WB, knowing their work may be destroyed without ever being seen, because the company wants a tax writeoff?
100% agree. If it sucks it sucks, but people should be allowed to see for themselves, and the actors and crew deserve to be able to put it on their IMDB.
