Agreed. I use twitter less and less and started a podcast called Future Mending Radio with this in mind. The undecided/apolitical middle is never going to be activated by a tweet, they tune it all out.

Listened on the train today. Very interesting and not a topic I knew much about. Thanks!

Will download. I always think we should do more sociology about elites. Lots of information on how those without power operate and live. I guess this is an economics book though rather than sociology?

Did you know he built a city in the middle of the Amazon jungle called Fordlandia and tried to make the South American workers who lived there square dance?

I’ve never forgotten that Mass Ave had good bike infrastructure that got removed because drivers were slamming into barriers (instead of striking bicycles) at such speeds that people kept rolling their cars: www.bostonglobe.com/2020/12/19/m...

The city quickly removed barriers that were installed to improve dangerous cycling conditions.

I'm starting a podcast called Future Mending about examples of multi-solving - things that are sustainable but better for our mental and physical health and fit into our daily lives. Looking at the better world we could be living in. Not for tech bros, or even environmentalists necessarily.
