I appreciate this column by @jemima.bsky.social, but I for one don’t love the echo chamber here.

The great migration from Elon Musk’s X has seen users, especially progressives, retreat into one particular silo

I typed this into Google translate and it came out “I prefer the praise of bigots to the jeers of those who hate them”. Seems weird Maybe a millisecond of considering whether people line up against your ideas because they suck? Maybe not show your ass supporting validation through audience capture?

And twitter isn't an echo chamber??? It systematically, algorithmically silences basically every viewpoint that doesn't align with Elon Musk's worldview unless you have a pre-existing gigantic following. If your experience here is that it's an echo chamber it's because YOU'RE not following people
