We're got lots of experiences via Open Digital Planning partners. Notify has been ok, but Pay (a *must* to use PlanX) is a recurring challenge... I think there's currently a GOV.UK Pay working group in ODP where a few folks are trying to solve this, let me get back to you.

I had a similar thought when my payment went a bit wonky. The publisher emailed me a few weeks later with the bad news that my order hadn't gone through... Top people at the publishing house though
