Yup. This is 100% my view. Fine to do it and even provide some help if for some industry e.g. cement. But it should be forced by regulation and paid for by record-profit-making oil & gas companies.

One thing I always think about is how much it would have cost companies like these to invest in CCUS themselves (from excess profits) instead of waiting until we are all so desperate that the taxpayer will fund it
