I saw one of these monstrosities recently at our commuter train station and was most taken by the fact that it’s too big for a normal parking spot. So it takes up two spots or forces people to park over lines like the Volvo in that one Curb episode. Either intentionally evil or dumb designers. Both?

When we first saw one up close, I said it's like seeing a glitch in the Matrix. It's just wrong, in an immediately knowable way.

There’s one regularly parked outside a lovely Victorian on Summit Avenue in Saint Paul (a road of mostly Victorians), and it’s so jarring as to cause motion sickness
