Yes, which is precisely why his endorsement matters. Even the people who have been facilitating the rise of fascism believe it’s going too far. Defections are a critical component of stopping or bringing down any authoritarian regime.
I think you have it backwards. Cheney and the rest see the Dems as their best option to continue their agenda. Trump is too unpredictable, as they worry he won't follow their plan.
Preventing fascism by installing a less erratic, more corporation-friendly fascism. 👍
I don't think never-Trumpers believe it's going too far, exactly. They believe it's going too fast and too recklessly, in a way that's "bad for business." I think they worry, probably correctly, that Christian dominionists like Leo will fuck everything up, trigger civil war, and possibly global war.
hello, i'm with the bank and i need to see if your money is working. send me $1000 and i'll send it right back.
Wild, I remember when we _de-platformed_ Nazis instead of applauding them
"bringing down any authoritarian regime." Unless it's Israel amiright
come on man
No, dude. Why are we granting *Dick Cheney* such a charitable interpretation? What has he done to deserve such grace? He doesn't "believe [fascism] going too far", he thinks he should be the one at the helm of the fascism.
he has no following. His endorsement is strictly for Bulwark/Lincoln Project/West Wing-pilled Dems. Reps hate him now. Not his endorsement itself but Harris plugging it risks convincing the dropoff base that the game is rigged and both parties are the same, just as the Middle East is blowing up.
