The first-ever ‘Free Milk ATM’ has appeared in N. London, and it dispenses free bottles of fresh milk to anyone who needs it. It's been installed by dairy company Arla as a lack of fridge space at food banks means often users can’t get fresh milk. 6th richest country in the world, apparently.
To be honest, that's really good of them, considering we have a country with a charity, rather than rights, culture. They don't have to do this. It makes me more favourably disposed to this company. The cynic in me suspects that's why they do it.
Anyone know where in “North London” this is? It’s quite a big place after all I read at least ten online news stories about it to try and find out. All of them reported the press release verbatim which doesn’t mention where it is so none of the stories did either. #deathofjournalism
