One thing that's cool about Meta is how they are incapable of moderating blatant medical misinformation, endless scams, and the literal planning of insurrections and pogroms, but they have real-time monitoring and censoring of Marisa Kabas and the Kansas Reflector. 👍👍👍
I can't remember the last time Facebook took action on anything I have reported.
Terrible that so many so-called media companies have nobody with journalism training working for them. Also terrible how many depend on these *free* services and are clueless about how they are run!
Kabas is very dangerous, to some people.
One thing I found buried in the feed settings is the ability to reduce low-quality posts and spam. So they're aware that it exists and that no one ever wants to see it, but let's just reduce it a little bit by default.
