I've been a Judge McBurney fan since the Tex McIver trial started in 2017. Every time his name comes up I know it's going to be something good!

Admirably lucid writing on a somewhat difficult to articulate idea

Overriding the right to privacy in the Georgia constitution meant that possibility that the sodomy ‘ghost law’ would come back to haunt Georgia.

". . . laws . . ., enacted by legislators long since voted out of office, can spring to life when our ever-changing politics yields a new majority on our high courts, a majority which in turn imparts a new meaning to a supposedly unchanged and unchanging Constitution. But here we are."
