During the past few times that I've presenting "Ruined" and "Shamed" this year, I've gotten such great feedback that I'm truly grateful for. There's also now been at least one person, who will tell me that what I'm writing is "actual literature" and that what I'm doing is 1/2

"not just scholarship but making art," and that I am a, straight up, "an artist." Whoa. I put a lot of myself on the line in my writing and presentations and I'm glad that some people are starting to see the sort of multidimensionality in my work that I'm going for. 2/2
