also frankly kind of insulting to stutterers to blame that total breakdown on a stutter

sometimes you switch out words or retool your sentences in a way that can sound awkward or unsure. it doesn't make you say "we finally beat medicare." yeesh

You'd think there wasn't an Oscar winning movie about a public figure with a stutter becoming an effective political communicator. (Not to say it was a good movie, but well, you know. It's something people may have heard of)
