PSA: there IS a filter for gory images but it’s hidden in the settings and can only be accessed via the website, not the mobile app. Open “Moderation” and toggle “Enable adult content.” Then set “Graphic media” to either “Warn” or “Hide.” While you’re at it, turn off auto-play for videos.
