Dessa Cosma's precinct had no voting booths reachable from her wheelchair. A worker said to fill out her ballot on the check-in table, and got annoyed when she said she had the right to vote privately. That night, several disabled colleagues had horror stories too. Gift link to my article today:

It is pretty wild to think about how many organizations are spending so much time separately doing extremely similar work on precinct data just because the reporting structure is so bad

Analysts spend countless hours and resources compiling the precinct-level results they need for litigation and research. They want legislation to force states to make it all accessible.
