This makes sense when you look at it through the right wing concept of "free speech" meaning "I should be able to say what I like, and you should have to listen to it, and I should receive no pushback for what I said" (as well as the context of him not caring about blocking as a safety feature)

Im bewildered to find out many people think of blocking primarily as a "don't show me this" function w/ the reaction to this and other things. I thought using blocking to control access to you was the norm sometimes I want to be able to keep tabs on people I blocked but I *don't* want them to see me
funny how they weaponized constitutional protections for religion, voting, guns, and speech, reducing each to "the freedom to oppress" ... like a fascist four freedoms or something
When that clown made the first threat in that regard over a year ago I called it quits, deleted every tweet and shut down my account. Never looked back. 🤷♂️
