When I lived there, I loved the slices from Fascati Pizzeria in Brooklyn Heights
its really disappointing actually. I get how tempting it is to keep that audience and the relationships you have cultivated there...but there's nothing good about it and the good times are never coming back.
psychologically, it was important for me to do that.

oh, I was way more of a "jump off wooden ramps made out of a piece of scrap wood"/ride through the woods/"E.T."/"Stranger Things" kind of BMX-kid ;)
I thought of including Dyno, GT and Haro...but in the late 70s and early 80s, I never personally saw one..
at that point, Vans were so west coast you could only order them out of the back of a skateboard or BMX magazine and then wait about 6-8 weeks until they arrived.
