Text on an automated transcription monitor: So my book is called Dayspring, this is very early on, it's the story of the beloved disciple from the Bible told of a disciple through the perspective of that disciple but it's also kind of screwy with time so it's kind of a contemporary story. I'm going to read from the section very early on, this is page 6 if you are following along, and I am going to skip a line and 1/2 that is a little porny because I do see some kids. Did it spell porny? It did!

But there's also a habit of mine where I speak and endless quotation, like the passage I read at the beginning has a lot of CS Lewis in it, there's a lot of that section that is actually the kids meeting Aslan. I'm sort of obsessed with- and I never know what I'm quoting, I'm always like is that Shakespeare or Zach Gilmore Girls?
Text on an automated transcription monitor: There's something funny about the word radical. We think about it as meaning something coming from the margins but it's actually the roots, radishes, radiuses, radical means to go back to the absolute route of something and I wanted to strip- to renovate some of these passages so they struck your ear at an angle you are not used to so that you could recover some of that gesture.
